Easy Dinner Party One Day Course
Preparing a dinner party for friends or family can be a stressful and frustrating experience. Our one day Dinner Party course is perfect for learning how to reduce the stress of dinner party cooking without sacrificing the high standards we all like to attain. This is achieved through teaching and demonstration of techniques together with tips and shortcuts.
A range of dinner party dishes will be prepared and cooked during the day and you will be given a folder containing all the relevant information plus the chosen recipes. We believe that the most essential ingredients in the preparing and serving of dinner party food are enthusiasm, planning, care and fun and we try to pass these traits onto our students.
On the Dinner Party programme you could well be cooking the following:-
- Cream of Carrot & Orange Soup
- Roasted Rump of Lamb
- Balsamic Onions
- Cheese & Herb Pate with Melba Toast
- Chicken Tagine with Dates and Honey
- Almond Coriander Cous Cous
- Key Lime Pie
- and much, much more...
The Dinner Party Course is suitable for students who have a basic to intermediate level of cooking skills.

Dinner Party Schedule
The dinner party day starts at 10.30 am with morning coffee and home made biscuits. This will give you the opportunity to meet up with your fellow participants. You will then be taken to our purpose built, fully equipped kitchen where there is plenty of working space for each student. There will be a run through of the dinner party menu plan for the day and tuition for the selected dishes before you embark on their preparation and cooking with lunch as your first objective.
After a well earned lunch break you will receive further tuition before preparing and cooking an early dinner. So you can sit back and enjoy the results of your hard work before returning home to your family/friends around 6.00 pm.
