Pastry Cookery

Have you avoided getting into pastry making because it all seems too difficult? Have you been making pastry but are disappointed with your efforts? Well, this one day course provides you with a helpful introduction to the subject which is easy to follow and guaranteed to produce successful results.

In our relaxed school environment you will learn to produce an interesting range of pastries with which to impress family and friends but more importantly yourself. You will be surprised how much you can achieve once you have some professional knowledge and with our help and support you will feel a huge sense of achievement.

Course Programme

The Course runs from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm, commencing with morning coffee and biscuits. Students will receive a briefing on the menu plan for the day followed by tuition on preparation and cooking of the selected dishes.

Then it will be hands on cooking with tasting along the way. Students will also receive a selection of goodies to take home.

Pastries covered include:

  • Short Crust
  • Flaky
  • Rough Puff
  • Choux
