Terms & Conditions

No contract will exist between you, the customer, and The Gables School of Cookery for the sale by it to you of any product unless, and until The Gables School of Cookery confirms receipt of your order by email. Your acceptance of the terms and conditions relating to the purchase of product will be deemed complete at the time The Gables School of Cookery sends this email to you.

Availability

All products are subject to availability. If for any reason your order cannot be fulfilled or will be delayed, we will inform you of this as soon as possible.

Pricing

Any deliveries outside of mainland UK will be priced upon application.

Any orders that cannot be delivered on the first attempt will incur a redelivery charge of £ 4.00.

All orders which are left at the customers request in an alternative safe place are left at the customers own risk.

Damaged Items

Damaged goods must be notified in writing via email to simply3to5@thegablesschoolofccokery.co.uk within 3 days of receipt of delivery, please include in your email which item is damaged, the nature of the damage, order number, date the order was placed and the delivery note number supplied with the goods. Upon receipt of returned goods, we will refund the monies you have paid for the goods or supply you with replacement goods at your option.

Cancellations and Returns

You have the right to cancel the contract for your purchase within 7 working days of delivery.

To cancel a contract, notice must be given in writing via email to simply3to5@thegablesschoolofccokery.co.uk stating your order number, date of order, goods to be returned and reason for return, we will issue the address the goods need to be returned to and a returns number which must be written on the delivery note and returned with the goods to us in their original packaging and unused.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.

Please note that The Gables School of Cookery may apply a restocking charge up to a maximum of 35% of the value of your order. Once the returned goods have been received and inspected by The Gables School of Cookery we shall refund the relevant part of your purchase price within 30 days.

We promise to respond to all complaints promptly and certainly within 5 working days.

Data Protection

We request your name, address and e-mail address to enable us to provide you with an efficient after sales service but we will not pass your name and address to any third parties.

For the avoidance of doubt these terms and conditions are governed by and will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England. Any contract created between yourself and The Gables School of Cookery will be deemed to have been concluded in England and will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England. You and The Gables School of Cookery irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Guarantee

If your product should develop a fault within 28 days of purchase we will exchange it for an equivalent product if available, or if you prefer, refund your money (your product should still be in new condition and with the original packaging and invoice).

Liability

As we have no control over the use of products supplied, by the end user, we can not accept any liability howsoever caused, nor do we accept any consequential liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of the products we supply.
