Thai Cookery Course

This one day Thai cookery course will help you to appreciate the beautifully prepared fresh food that is an essential part of Thai cooking. Thai recipes incorporate the lovely fragrance of lemon grass and kaffir lime leaves with the piquancy of brilliant red chillies and the brilliant flavours of coconut milk and fresh coriander.

Our Thai cookery courses are ideal for students who have a basic to intermediate level of cookery skills and wish to explore the cooking of Thailand. After some tuition and demonstrations, you will prepare and cook a range of Thai dishes. These could include:-

• Kai Tort (crispy eggs with pork and prawn)
• Gaeng Keow Wahn Gai (green chicken curry)
• Yum Pla Foo (crisp fish salad with chilli lime dressing) 
• Sticky Rice Custard.

Thai cookery is just one of our one day cooking courses.

Thai Cooking Course Itinerary

The Thai cookery course day starts at 10:00 am with morning coffee and home made biscuits. This will give you the opportunity to meet up with your fellow participants. You will then be taken to our purpose built, fully equipped kitchen where there is plenty of working space for each student. There will be a run through of the course menu plan for the day and tuition for the selected dishes. You will then prepare and cook your dishes sampling as you go. Finally a sit down meal will be served with wine in the afternoon. We aim to finish the course at 4:00 pm.
