Vegetarian Cookery One Day Course
Our vegetarian cookery course will instruct you how to prepare and cook an exciting range of nutritious and low fat vegetarian dishes. Increasing numbers of people are exploring vegetarian cookery as an alternative to traditional meals. This day course will challenge perceptions of vegetarian food and increase your appreciation of this wide and varied alternative menu.
You will be thrilled to learn what ingredients and recipes can be used to produce exciting and tasty dishes. Imagine being able to cook the following:-
- Camembert and Shallot Tarts
- Mushroom, Courgette and Mascarpone Lasagne
- Roast Pumpkin and Potato with Garlic and Rosemary
- Iced Berries with Hot White Chocolate Sauce

The range of vegetarian food that you will explore will give you renewed imagination about how to use ingredients such as nuts, cheese, herbs, mushrooms, fruit, and many types of fresh vegetables. You will find the course suitable if you have a basic to intermediate level of cooking skills.
Vegetarian Cooking Course Itinerary
The course begins at 10.30 am with coffee and biscuits and a chance to meet your fellow students. You will receive a folder of recipes and valuable information about vegetarian cookery and receive tuition for the recipes you will be cooking on the day. Our stunning, purpose-built kitchen contains everything that you will need and there is plenty of space for you to work in (see our kitchen now with our virtual tour).
After the morning preparation and cooking you will be able to enjoy a nice lunch, and then continue the hands-on cookery. Personal tuition and help will make your day as stress-free as possible - we want you to really feel comfortable.
You will be able to enjoy some of the food you have cooked during an early dinner, sharing together in the experiences of the day, before returning home at about 6 pm.
